Please Support the A-to-z of Yeovil's history
Please support this website
individuals. . .
. . . . but also
The A-to-Z of Yeovil's History website is the internet's largest and most comprehensive resource of its kind and currently has more than 1,700 pages and has over 7,125 images - and it grows bigger and better almost every day. The website has been in existence for a little over two years and in that time has attracted over 800,000 page views and has been viewed in 110 different countries - all for free.
The downside is, of course, that it gets ever more expensive for me to research, build, expand and maintain the site. Since the website is presently unfunded and non-profit making,
I am asking for your help.
Support from individuals
Donations from individuals would be most gratefully received.
The easiest and most secure way to make your contribution to the running costs of the A-to-Z is to make a payment directly to my Paypal account for any amount (my account is my email address as at the bottom of this page) or by selecting an amount from the drop-down list and then clicking the 'Buy Now' button below (you don't need a Paypal account, you can safely pay by debit or credit card) -
Alternatively, since I love getting post, you could send a cheque for any amount (in pounds sterling), made payable to R Osborn, to 40 Montrose Road, Yeovil, Somerset BA21 5PJ.
Many thanks in advance and, as Tesco like to remind us, "Every little helps".
Sponsorship from local companies
As a consequence of its worldwide popularity and the sheer number of visitors to the A-to-Z of Yeovil's History website, searching on Google for "Yeovil History" ranks the A-to-Z as No 1 of more than half a million results. Similarly, hundreds of related searches, such as "Middle Street Yeovil" will appear on the first page of results.
This, of course, could create an amazing marketing opportunity for your business.
I recently trialed the use of an advertising banner (shown below) on my home page for a local company, Southwest Gates, and in just one month their website received over 500 visits redirected from the A-to-Z website, in turn resulting in more business for them. In fact, Southwest Gates asked me to remove the banner as they were being overwhelmed with the sudden surge in requests for information, sales, quotes, etc.
I am offering to host a banner specially-designed for your company, like the one above, on the home page of the A-to-Z of Yeovil's History website, with a direct link to your website for -
a whole year for just £30.
The easiest and most secure way to ensure your banner appears directly on the home page of the A-to-Z of Yeovil's History website is to make a payment to my Paypal account by clicking the 'Buy Now' button below. Alternatively, send a cheque, made payable to R Osborn, to 40 Montrose Road, Yeovil, Somerset BA21 5PJ.
Please email me separately with any particular requests for the design of your banner. I will email a receipt for your records.
Many thanks in advance..
