1636 will of Anthony Traske

In the name of God Amen I Anthony Traske of yeavell in the County of Som[er]set Mercer being sicke of body but of perfect memorie thankes be to God doe make this my last Will and Testament the Fifteenth Day of October Anno D[omi]ni one thousand Six hundred Thirty sixe in manner and forme followinge Imprimis I bequeath my soule to Almightie God my maker bee fully p[er]swaded through the merritts of his Sonne Christ Jesus to live in joyes everlastinge and my Body to be buried in Christian buryall in the Churchyard of yeavell aforesaid Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Fortie Pounds of lawfull money of England to bee paid unto Giles Hodges of Halstoke, and John Pinfold of yeavell aforesaid my brother in Law within two yeares next after my decease, to remaine in their hands to and for the use and benefit of my said Daughter Anne accordinge to the Statute untill shee shall accomplishe the age of one and twenty yeares, or to be paid unto her att or uppon her Daie of marriage yf shee shall happen to marry before shee shall accomplishe the age of one and twenty yeares by the consent of the said Giles Hodges and John Pinfold. Item my will is that yf my said Daughter Ann shall happen to depart this Life before shee shall accomplishe the age of one and twenty yeares and not married by the consent of the said p[ar]ties as aforesaid, that then the Legacie given her to be and remaine unto my Executrix Item I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Anne my great Chest in the Hall Chamber and one Trunke that was her mothers and one gold Ring and the featherbedd that I doe now lye upon to bee [word illegible] as aforesid. Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Sister in Lawe Joane Ryall Fower Pounde of lawfull money, and a light coloured riding Suite. Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Mary Wisemans fower children, to each of them five shillings. Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth Bryants three children five shillings to each of them. Item I give and bequeath unto my brother in lawe John Pinfolds two children, Sixe shillings to each of them. Item I give and bequeath unto Lyonel Pyne my best riding Coate: Item I give and bequeath unto my Goddaughter Joane Moone two shillings and Sixe Pence: Item all the rest of my goods and chattells unbequeathed moveable and unmoveable I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth And doe make Her the Sole, and only Executrix of this my last will and Testament. Item lastly I doe intreate and appoint the abovesaid Giles Hodges and John Pinfold to bee the Overseers of this my last will and Testament to see all things performed accordinge to this my will, and doe give to each of them twelve Pence. In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written
