I Robert Hayne
the elder of
Yeovill in the
County of
Somerset Linnen
Draper being in
an indifferent
state of health
of body but of a
sound and
perfect mind and
memory thanks be
to Almighty God
for the same do
make this my
last Will and
Testament in
manner following
First I comment
my Soul to the
hands of God who
gave it me and
as for what
temporal Estate
he hath blessed
me withall I
give and dispose
thereof as
followeth
Item I
give devise and
bequeath unto
each and every
one of my four
younger Children
to witt Mary
Robert Gyles and
Anne Four
hundred pounds
apiece over and
besides what
will fall to
them after mine
and my Wife's
deaths by virtue
of my marriage
Articles which
said Legacies my
Will desire and
meaning is shall
be payd unto my
said Children
when and as they
shall attain
their several
and respective
Ages of one and
twenty years
Item I
give unto my
eldest Son
Nathaniel one
guinea to buy
him a Ring and
do [Commend?]
and leave him to
the care of his
Mother
Item all
the rest and
residue of my
personal Estate
Goods and
Chattles of what
nature and kind
soever not
herein before
given I give
devise and
bequeath unto
Hannah my loving
Wife whom I make
full whole and
sole Executrix
of this my Will
hereby revoking
all former Wills
by me at any
time heretofore
made and
declaring this
only to be my
last Will and do
desire and
appoint my
Brother Jeremiah
Hayne my Brother
in Lawe
Mr
John Old Mr
Samuel Daniel
of Yeovill
aforesaid and Mr
Robert Batten of
Lyme Regis in
the County of
Dorset to be
Overseers and
Trustees of this
my Will not
doubting but
that they will
see the same
justly performed
