And there it was... gone.

The corner shop was demolished (please choose one or more of the following)

1. to create another eyesore in Yeovil
2. to make room for extremely large cars to get around the corner
3. to make room for floats of the now defunct Yeovil carnival to get around the corner
4. to make more space for ugly street furniture, such as disused traffic lights the Highways Authority couldn't be bothered to remove even ten years after they covered them in bright orange plastic bags
