Westland garden Village

Westland Garden Village

Built for Westland workers

Below is reproduced a brochure extolling the virtues of the new Westland 'garden village' of some 500 houses with designs by the Yeovil architectural practice of Petter & Warren. Although undated, I'm guessing it was produced in the very early 1920s, since it states that the development was in the parish of Preston Plucknett which was incorporated into Yeovil in 1924.

The brochure is self-explanatory and reproduced in full.
