in the County of
Somerset
yeoman being
weake in body
but in perfect
minde and memory
thankes be given
to Almighty god
Doe make and
ordaine this my
last will and
testament in
manner and forme
following First
I comend and
render my soule
into the handes
of Almighty god
my Creator
hopeing through
the merritts of
Jesus Christ my
Saviour and
Redeemer to have
Remission of all
my sinnes and to
be made partaker

the Kingdome of
heaven And my
body I desire
may
be interred in
christian
buriall in a
decent manner at
the discretion
of my Executrix
hereafter named
And as touching
such worldly
goods and estate
as it hath
pleased Almighty
god to make me
an unworthy
Steward of I
give will and
devise them in
manner and forme
following First
I give will and
devise unto
Joane my wife
all such terme
of yeares and
estate
whatsoever which
I now have or
hereafter shall
or may have in
ot to all or any
the Faires
Markett or
Marketts shelves
or Standings of
and in the
markett place of
yeavell
aforesaid And
all the issue
profitt and
benefitt of all
marketts and
faires or to be
from time to
time held and
kept within the
same together
with all the
goods and
materialls for
standings or
standing places
incident or
belonging to the
same To have and
to hold the same
for and dureing
all my terme or
termes therein
Item I give will
and devise unto
Joane my said
wife All that my
dwelling house
wherein I now
live scituate
and being in
Groape Lane
in yevell
aforesaid And

gardens walles
and ways places
to the said
Dwellinge house
incident and
belonging To
have and to hold
the same unto
Joane my said
wife and to her
heires for ever
Item I give will
and devise unto
my said wife all
such goods
implements and
household stuffe
as at the time
of my decease I

standing or
being in my said
dwellinghouse

bequeath unto my
three of my
