1693 Will of John Game

I John Game of Yeovill In the County of Sommerset Apothecary being Sick of body but of sound and disposing mind and memory doe make Ordaine constitute and appoint this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following first I Commend my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God thro Jesus Christ and my body to bee buryed at the Discretionof my Executrix hereinafter named And as for my worldly goods I give devise and bequeath all my Lands goods Chattles Customary Estate whatsoever Summe and summes of money Household Stuffe plate debts and Credits and all other my Estates whatsoever both Reall and personall to my deare and Loving wife Jane on Condition that she keeps her selfe a widdow in my name but my will is that if my said wife shall happen to Marry then my will is that all my Lands Goods Chattles Customary Estate money Household Stuffe and goods whatsoever shall be equally Divided Amongst all my Children now unmarried except the House I now live in which I doe give devise and bequeath to my sonne John if my said wife shall happen to Marry as aforesaid otherwise my will is that my said wife shall have the sole disposition of all my Lands Goods Chattles Customary Estate and goods whatsoever as aforesaid she paying my debts and performing my funerall att her own discretion And I doe hereby further Declare my Will is that my Daughter Jane shall have and enjoy all that Coppyhold Tenement I purchased of my Lord Stowton for her Life if she shall happen to survive my said wife and sonne according as her Life stands in the Coppy of Court Roll thereof she paying the summe of Fifty pounds to such person as my wife shall nominate on her last Will And to bee equally divided amongst all her Sisters the same to bee paid within one yeare after my said Daughter Jane shall soe enjoy the same Tenement And Lastly I doe make and Constitute my said Deare wife Jane Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the five and Twentieth Day of November In the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand six Hundred Ninety three
