1706 Will of Mary Daniell

Widow of Yeovil

 

In the Name of God Amen I Mary Daniell of Yeovill in the County of Sommersett Widdow being weak of body but of Sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be therefore given to God Almighty doe this second day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seaven hundred and Six make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) First and principally I recomend my Soul to God that gave it hopeing through the merritts of his dear Son Jesus Christ my only saviour to have full pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to inheritt Everlasting life my body I desire may be decently interred in some convenient time after my change shall come by my Executor hereafter named And as for the disposition of my worldly Estate which God in his bounty hath blessed me withall I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my two Grandaughters Sarah Butle and Hannah Butler twenty pounds apeice to be paid within two years after my decease Item I give to my Grandaughter Hannah [Banyer?] now Adams the sum of twenty pounds to be paid as aforesaid Item I give to my Daughter Ruth Loaves ten pounds and to her two children John and Elizabeth Loaves ten pounds a peice to be paid within three years after my decease Item I give unto the said John Leaves and Elizabeth Leaves each of them a Silver spoon Item I give unto my Daughter Mary Leach the sume of ten pounds to be paid within two years after my decease and alsoe I give unto my grandaughter Mary Leach the Sume of twenty pounds to be paid within two years after my decease Item I give to my two Daughters Martha Daniell and Sarah Hannah Daniell (my son George Daniells two children) the sume of ten pounds apeice to be paid when they attain the age of one and Twenty years and if either of them shall dye before she attain such age then I give the whole to the Survivor of them Item I give unto my Daughter Elizabeth Wills the sume of ten pounds and to her daughter Mary Anstice five pounds And to my great Grandaughter Elizabeth Anstice five pounds And to Cousin Mary Anstice two sons two broad peices of Gold to be paid within two years after my decease Item I give to my Cozen Thomas Grubham tenn pounds and to his Sister Martha Beal five pounds to be paid within twelve months after my decease Item I give the beds in the Kitchen Chamber with one pair of Sheets one pair of Blanketts Ruggs Bolsters and furniture thereunto belonging unto the said Hannah Addams Item I give unto Sarah Butler my bigest brass pann And my next biggest brass pann to my Daughter Mary Leach and the biggest chest in the Hall Chamber together with a [Settle?] a side Cupboard Item I give the third biggest brass pann to my Daughter Wills Item I give the two little brass panns to Mary and Elizabeth the Daughters of my son Samuel Daniell item I give to my Grandaughter Mary Daniell a little Silver bowl marked WDM and the second biggest Chest in the hall Chamber Item I give unto my Daughter Elizabeth Wills my best bellmettle Skellett Item I give to my Son Samuel Daniells wife Mary Daniell A Diaper board cloath and biggest perwter dish and to my grandson Samuell Daniell my biggest Silver beaker and my best Ring Item I give unto my Cousins Mary Hibberd Elizabeth Avoake and Grace Hole a broad peice of gold to each of them severally Item I give the Chest at the Stairs Head to my Cousin Hannah Addams and alsoe the Little Silver Beaker Item I give to John Samuel Mary and Elizabeth the children of my Son Samuel Daniell tenn pounds apeice Item I give to the poor of yeovill forty shillings to be distributed by the said Thomas Grubham and James Wills my Sin in Law And all the rest of my house hold goods not herein before given consisting in Linnen and pewter I give and devise the same to my three daughters my Grandaughter Elizabeth daniell my Grandaughter Mary Addams and to my Grandaughters Sarah and Hannah Butler who is to have a sixt part thereof equally to be divided Item I give to my Couzen Frederick Underwood twenty shillings & to my Couzen Anne Burlington five pounds Item I give to Mr Robert bartlett one Guinea All the rest and residue of my goods and chattells and alsoe all my Lands tenements and hereditaments I give devise and bequeath unto my Son Samuell Daniell his heires and Assignes and doe make and ordaine the said Samuell Daniell my Son full and sole Executor of this my last Will and testament hereby revoaking all former wills by me made in testimony whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and year first above written
