1743 Will of William Collins

In the Name of God Amen The Thirty first day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and forty three I William Collins of Yeovil in the County of Somerset Butcher Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (Viz.) Imprimis I give unto my Executrix herein after mentioned my best suit of Cloaths Item I give unto my two Kinsmen Philip Collins and Edward Collins All the rest of my wearing apparel both Woollen and Linnen to be equally divided between them  Item I give unto my Kinsman Edward Collins my Bed wherein I now lye over the Hall Chamber with all things thereunto belonging Item I give unto my Kinsman Samuel Seally my Silver Cup marked WC Item I give unto my Kinsman Samuel Seally my Mourning Ring I had for my Father Item I give unto Grace Frances Daughter of my Kinsman John Frances my silver pepper box Item I give unto my Kinswoman Amy Frances Wife of John Frances my Silver spoon marked WC Item I give unto Grace Collins daughter of Henry Collins a Silver spoon  Item I give unto my Kinsman Henry Frances two Silver Spoons marked PC Item I give unto my Cousin Betty Frances a Silver spoon Item I give unto my Kinsman William Frances's Wife a Silver spoon Item I give unto my brother Henry Collins one Guinea Item I give unto Mary Perry my Kinswoman and Wife of Edward Perry my Mourning Ring I had for Robert [Hollgace?] Item I give unto my Servant Maid Ann Randall one pound to buy her a Gown  Item all the rest and remainder of my Goods and Chattels of what nature or kind soever after my Funeral expences are discharged I give and bequeath the same unto my Sister Grace Frances Wife of Thomas Frances whom I also nominate and appoint sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking and renouncing all other Wills by me made acknowledging this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof the Testator have hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written

On the Fifteenth Day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and forty three Administration with the Will annexed of the Goods Chattels and Credits of William Collens otherwise Collins late of Yeovil in the County of Somerset deceased was granted to John Hammond principal Creditor of the said deceased being first sworn duly to Administer Grace Frances (Wife of Thomas Frances) the Sister Sole Executrix and Residuary Legatee first renouncing the Execution of the said Will and Letters of Administration with the said Will annexed
