Widow of Yeovil Marsh
I Mary Pope of Yeovil Marsh in the County
of Somerset
Widow being of
sound and
disposing mind
memory and
understanding to
make publish and
declare this my
last Will and
Testament in
manner and form
following that
is to say I give
devise and
bequeath All
that my
Household Estate
called
Clottfurlong
situate at Folke
in the County of
Dorset subject
to the payment
of my just debts
Legacies Funeral
Expences and the
Charges of
proving this my
will unto my son
Richard and my
Daughter Mary
for all the
remainder of my
Interest therein
I give unto my
Son George the
sum of Twenty
pounds I give
unto my Son John
the sum of Fifty
pounds I give
unto my Son
Thomas the sum
of One hundred
pounds the bed
on which he now
sleeps with the
Bedstead and
Furniture
thereto
belonging and my
Clock I give
unto my Son
James the sum of
ten pounds I
give unto my two
Grandsons
William and
Thomas Sons of
my Son James the
sum of ten
pounds each And
I hereby Charge
my said Estate
with payment of
such Legacies
and direct that
the same shall
be paid to my
said Sons and
Grandsons when
and as the Rents
of the said
Estate can be
got in and
received
according to
priority the
Elder Son being
to receive his
Legacy first and
so on in
rotation but no
Interest is to
be paid on such
Legacies And
after payment of
my said Debts
and Legacies I
give devise and
bequeath my
Field called [Knottmans
?] Folly part of
the above Estate
now let to
George Thompson
Jacob Esquire
unto my Son
Thomas for the
remainder of my
Interest therein
All the rest and
residue of my
Personal Estate
Goods Chattels
Rights Credits
and Effects
whatsoever I
give and
bequeath unto my
said Son Richard
and my said
Daughter Mary to
be equally
divided between
them share and
share alike And
I hereby appoint
my said Son
Richard and
Daughter Mary
Executor and
Executrix of
this my Will In
Witness whereof
I have hereunto
