1852 Will of Phillis Mitchell

The last Will and Testament of Phillis Mitchell of Yeovil in the County of Somerset Baker made this fifteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and fifty two I hereby give and bequeath unto my Son William Cave (my son by a former husband) and unto my daughter Mary Mitchell (my daughter by a later husband) all that dwelling house Bakehouse outhouses garden etc situated in Higher Kingston in the parish of Pitney or Yeovil (the garden leading from Higher to Lower Kingston) and which is now in my own possession which House etc is subject however to a Monthly payment to the Yeovil Building and Investment Society All my household Goods and chattles of whatever name All my Stock in Trade utensils [two words illegible] etc etc as their sole Property (after all my just debts are paid) to be equally divided between them at my decease And that the full intent and meaning of this my last Will and Testament may be carried into effect so that each of my aforesaid children may have an equal share in what is now or may be my property I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Mr John Milborne [Mans?] Mercer Tailor etc of Yeovil and Mr Edward Wills now or late Glove Manufacturer of the same place as my [tenet?] for such intents and purposes And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Son William Cave and my daughter Mary Mitchell the joint Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

the same time

Deponent and the
said Hester Cave
thereupon
attested and
subscribed the
said Will in the
presence of the
said Testatrix
and of each
other And
referring to the
name Elizabeth

with pen and ink
in the first
line of the said
Will and the
name Phillis
written over the
same he deposes
and says that
the same was so
done prior to
the execution of
the said Will by
the said
deceased
