1853 will of James Phelps

Bricklayer

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Phelps of Yeovil in the County of Somerset Bricklayer I devise and bequeath to my brother Thomas Phelps his heirs executors and administrators all my real and Personal Estate and Effects subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences And I nominate and appoint my said brother Thomas Phelps sole Executor of this my Will I revoke all Wills by me heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this twenty second day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty three

Proved at London 5th Aug[us]t 1853 before the Judge by the Oath of Thomas Phelps the brother the sole Executor to whom Adm[inistrati]on was granted having been first sworn by Com[missi]on duly to Administer
