1875 Encroachment Remuneration

I Samuel Cridland of Yeovil Somersetshire Builder &c do hereby acknowledge that the three Windows placed by me in a newly erected House of mine situate in Reckleford Hill in the Town of Yeovil aforesaid adjoining two Houses occupied by Mr Phillip Pryor and Mrs Knight and belonging to the late Mr John Farley deceased and overlooking the fronts of the said two Houses belonging to the said late Mr John Farley are an encroachment and placed there by me only by permission and for the said encroachment I agree to pay to the late Mr John Farley's heirs and assigns the sum of one shilling per annum.
