Gloving in yeovil

Glove Manufacturers of Princes Street
Heard & Co are known to have been active in 1930 but were only listed once in Yeovil's trade directories and this was in Kelly's Directory of 1935 in which they were listed as glove manufacturers of 7 Princes Street.
The only reference to this company that I've come across was in the 15 February 1930 edition of the Exeter & Plymouth Gazette which reported "Messrs Heard's glove factory in Princes Street, Yeovil, was damaged by an explosion of escaped gas yesterday. A ceiling fell upon two girls, but they were not hurt."
