Jolly Huntsman
Middle Street
I have found only one reference to the Jolly Huntsman alehouse. This is a reference in the 1765 will of cooper George King in which he bequeaths "...all that Dwelling House and Tenement with the Garden and backside thereunto belonging called and known by the Name of the Jolly Huntsman Situate in Pitt Lane otherwise Middlestreet in Yeovil...".
