Reckleford
This, in fact, is probably meant to be the Nags Head Inn - there are two references in the 1871 census, one for Robert Stephens at the Nags Head Inn and another entry for a Robert Stephens at the Stags Head Inn. Strange that!
I have no other information about the Stags Head Inn on Reckleford other than that found in the 1871 census below. By this time Reckleford was indeed that road we know as Reckleford today and not the Reckleford that, by 1871, had been renamed Market Street.
